The film tells the story of how Hannah Montana's popularity begins to take overMiley Stewart's life. Miley's father forced him to travel to her hometown of Crowley Corners, Tennessee to get perspective on what's most important in his life.
Filming began in April 2008, [5] many of which happened in Columbia, Tennessee,[6] and Los Angeles, California, [1] [7] [8] and was completed in July 2008. [9] the Film was released in theaters on April 10, 2009 in the United States and Canada[10] as a teen sitcom which originated at the Disney Channel, Disney Channelpremiered a teaser trailer of the film during their event. This movie enjoyedfinancial success, reaching # 1 at the box office, but received a response that was quite mixed reviews from critics.
Miley Stewart (Miley Cyrus) is struggling with his alter ego and popularity asHannah Montana. Overhears that Hannah is keeping secret, Oswald Granger(Peter Gunn), a sneaky undercover journalist for celeb magazine BonChic, becamedetermined to find out what it is. Then, Miley (as Hannah) ends up in a fight withTyra Banks over a pair of shoes that he wanted to buy Lilly as a birthday gift. SteveRushton performs at (Emily Osment) birthday party Lilly Truscott that. WhenOswald secretly follows the limo to the party, Miley is forced to attend as Hannahis not himself, so guests turned their attention to him, not his best friend,especially when Hannah is accompanied by Steve Rushton and the differenceToday in her performance of "Let's Get Crazy". [11] [12] Oliver Oken (Mitchel Musso) and Rico Suave (Moises Arias) try to stop Lilly from leaving, but the party was destroyed by an explosion cake Rico "Happy Birthday Lilly". Upset at Miley,Lilly Oswald say that deliberately Hannah from a place called Crowley Corners,Tennessee, didn't realize that Oswald was a journalist.
Robby (Billy Ray Cyrus) that remains upset over the struggle of Hannah Montana and Tyra Banks reported through newspapers and his behaviour during the last few months. On the same day, they left for the World Music Awards in New Yorkon a private jet, but landed at the Crowley Corners, Tennessee, his hometownbecause his grandmother Ruby (Margo Martindale) birthday and that she wanted him to see the life he could have; Miley finally had enough and refused to push back with her father and determined to go home. Suddenly, Robby and Mileyhave their own relationship. Robby has a love interest, Lorelai (Melora Hardin), andMiley develops a deep relationship with childhood friend Travis Brody (Lucas Till) after she helped him with his old horse, Blue Jeans.
Meanwhile, Miley was sentenced after Robby mentions that he seems to want to be Hannah Montana more than she wants to be with his family. Oswald, meanwhile, follows Miley to his hometown. Then, he tried to write songs, but when Travis ignores it, she wasn't able to write. In the meantime, there is a battlewith residents of developing company Crowley Corners and a team of developerswho plan to destroy grassland and build a shopping center on the site. At awarehouse party that night, several singers contribute to the charity to saveCrowley Corners, singing "back to Tennessee" by Billy Ray Cyrus (Robby RayStewart singing), and "crazy" by Taylor Swift (as himself). While Miley then sings"Hoedown Throne" until the Mall developers arrive. Travis suggests that Hannah Montana should appear to play a special gig, seeing that Miley knows her (Mileyhad lied to Travis that she saved Hannah's life in a surfing accident) as a way to save the meadows from being destroyed for construction.
Miley spends time with Lilly who had come disguised as Hannah Montana Hannahalong with the band and crew. As the two make up, Miley has a rough timeadjusting to farm life while trying to be herself and Hannah. Oswald took his picture and Lilly Lilly as revealed that he was the one who invited Oswald comes toCrowley Corners to secret by accident. When Miley (as Hannah) see Travis, he encouraged him to ask Miley out. Travis decided to take his advice. Miley vows togo, but has been invited to dinner with the mayor by Lorelai (Lilly had beendisguised as Hannah at the time).
Miley struggles to switch between the two places as both forms. Finally he let hisguard down and caught by Travis and a little girl hug her Hannah wig. He immediately rejects Miley and she is devastated. Things are worse when Robbyhas broke up with Lorelai, need to take care of his daughter. Then, Miley wrote a song of myself, "butterfly Fly Away", which she and Robby Ray sing together tocheer him up. Miley finished chicken coop that he and Travis were building. Afterfinding it and hear Hannah Montana song "Rock Star", Travis felt a little guilty and decided to go to the concert to support Miley.
Seeing Travis shows up, Hannah suddenly stops midsong. He explained to the crowd that she can't do this anymore, said that where he is home. Hannah thenremoves the wig blonde, revealing that she is Miley Stewart and can no longercontinue being Hannah, declared itself unable to live a double life he again. He then sang a song he wrote, "The Climb." After that, the crowd pleaded with him to do being Hannah with little girl Miley say they will not tell anyone the secret.Suddenly, Oswald appears and takes a picture of Hannah in his cell phone. Afterencouragement by the twin girls to not send pictures to BonChic, he changed his mind and quit his job. Miley kisses Travis and then returned to the stage. The song, "you'll always Find Your Way Back Home," was a success and Miley leavesTennessee again while her faith in living a double life recovers fully.
